**Job Summary:**
The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children ages 0-21. This position requires working collaboratively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to implement effective treatment plans that promote communication development and enhance overall quality of life.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, and communication skills in children with varying needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with families to integrate therapy goals into daily activities.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative approaches that engage children in meaningful activities.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate families and caregivers about communication strategies and provide resources to support their child’s development.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, physical/occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and community outreach initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Idaho state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. CF Mentorships for new graduates are available.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and families.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about industry trends.
**Pay:**
- Pay is based upon experience. We offer market rate hourly pay for full-time/part-time positions and salary for school based schedules.
